Tagbiliran City: City of Friendship
Tagbilaran City, the capital city of Bohol,
Philippines, is located south of Cebu City. Known as the "City of Friendship",
Tagbilaran is considered as one of the 8 Philippine Dream Cities

city is reachable through the Tagbilaran Airport which is serviced
by Cebu Pacific, Philippine Airlines, and Zest Airways. All of

options for travel and transport to and from the capital. By sea,
the city is reachable through the Tagbilaran City Tourist Port
which mainly receives sea traffic from Cebu and other major ports
in Mindanao. Within

multicabs, jeepneys, buses, taxis, and vans providing
transportation around the city. All of these modes of land
transportation are accessible through the Tagbilaran City
Integrated Bus Terminal.
The city of Tagbilaran also serves as an entry
point into many of Bohol's most beautiful tourist destinations.
These include the world-famous Chocolate Hills, Tarsier Reserves,
beautiful white-sand beaches that rival even Boracay, lush diving
spots, and well-preserved Philippine Heritage Sites. The city also
celebrates the Sandugo Festival every year which commemorates the
Treaty of Friendship and blood compact between the local chieftain
of Bohol, Datu Sikatuna, and the spanish conquistador Miguel
López de Legazpi.
