The Expat's Guide to Ayala Avenue Makati

Ayala Malls: Glorietta 1, Glorietta 2, Glorietta 5, and Greenbelt (with tenants SM Makati and Landmark)
One of the first buildings you'll see on your left once you turn to Ayala Avenue from EDSA is Glorietta 5, which is part of the Ayala Malls. Considered as one of the top shopping and dining districts in the Philippines, the sprawling 250,000 sqm property offers a mix of high-end retail shops, restaurants, amenities, leisure, and entertainment that cater both to Filipino locals and foreigners or expatriates visiting or living in the Philippines. Ayala Malls is also close to several international hotels, including Intercontinental Manila, Holiday Inn, Dusit Thani Hotel, and New World Renaissance Hotel.
Tip: You can also visit the Ayala Museum to see art exhibits and learn more about Philippine history.

Ayala Triangle
Located in the center of Ayala Ave, Paseo de Roxas, and Makati Ave., Ayala Triangle is a small park popular among joggers, families, or people who simply want to take their pets for a walk. This area can't be easily missed; it is right outside the Ayala Tower One and Exchange Plaza. It also has a strip of restaurants, coffee shops, and dessert places where many young professionals and students hang out--the place can get pretty crowded after work hours.
Tip: Ayala Triangle is also home to the Filipinas Heritage Library. It is a research center offering books and knowledge about the history and culture of the Philippines. 

PBCOM Tower
Known as the tallest building in the country, PBCOM Tower has 52 storeys and an 8-level radio tower. It has office units averaging at 200sqm to 300 sqm per unit as well as world-class amenities such as an executive dining area, food court, garden, and helipad. PBCOM is the chosen office space location of multinational companies such as Philips, Maersk, and Schering.

The Enterprise Center
Managed by Shang Properties, the Enterprise Center is one of the first premium-grade buildings in Makati. The two-tower skyscraper has over 140,000 sqm of office space with 7 car park levels, an International Food Court, and a private lounge. Some companies who lease office space in this building include KSA Realty Corp., Hong Kong and Shanghai Banking Corporation (HSBC), and several IT and contact centers.
Tip: You can easily head to the Enterprise Center from Greenbelt and Glorietta through the connecting walkway.

RCBC Plaza
Another premium office building in along Ayala, RCBC Plaza is also has two towers with more than 40 stories each. Some of the popular amenities include banking chambers, convenience and service shops, food court, and an open-air courtyard. This building has a typical floor plate of 1,650 sqm -- some of its multinational corporate tenants are KLM Royal Dutch Airlines, Malayan Insurance, and Caltex.
Tip: You can also visit Yuchengco Museum to see paintings and exhibits from both Filipino and foreign artists.

GT International Tower
The third tallest building in the Philippines at 217 meters, GT International Tower is located on the corner of Ayala Avenue and H.V. dela Costa Street. It has Class A office space with a modern dining facility at the 12th floor. It is the headquarters of the Metrobank Group, one of the largest conglomerates in the country.
Tip: You can easily find GT tower; it is located right in the corner of H.V. Dela Costa and Ayala Ave., next to RCBC Tower.
