What do Pokémon Go and NASA's Mars
Rover Experience have in common? They are both "Made With Unity"
just like the majority of the top mobile games and interactive
digital experiences currently available in the market. Unity
Technologies is the worldwide leader in powering 2D, 3D, virtual
reality (VR), and augmented reality (AR) games and apps.
Due to growing global demand for
game and software development, Unity is expanding its reach and
turning to the Philippines for its large and young population as
well as its vast creative potential. To realize this mission, Unity
is partnering with ArthaLand Corporation to establish the country's
first CREATOR Center of Excellence and launch an intensive program
for advanced training in Unity's products and services.
"We know the local creative
industry is a key economic driver, and we are dedicated to
supporting its growth with Unity's latest technologies," said
Hubert Larenaudie, President, Asia Pacific at Unity Technologies.
"By partnering with ArthaLand Corporation in creating this Center,
we look forward to equipping local talent with key visualisation

The CREATOR Center of Excellence
will professionalize the training of designers, artists,
programmers, and project managers to foster a world class developer
ecosystem needed to produce rich content in an easier, faster, and
more scalable fashion. The Center aims to elevate the quality and
skills of both local and regional talent through a 6-month program
which consists of Unity's foundation-building courseware and
dynamic learning modules for specialization in 2D, 3D, VR, and AR
production. Participants will become proficient in advanced

Leo Po, the Executive Vice
President of ArthaLand and project champion, recognizes the need to
futureproof the Filipino workforce by providing them with new
skills to compete in a global market. "As industries further evolve
with the rise of artificial intelligence (AI) and automation, we
need to create new job opportunities for creative and other higher
value services which cannot be easily replaced by machines. We have
to better equip our fellow Filipinos to be able to thrive in this
age of hyper innovation and technology."
The Center will serve as a catalyst
for the development of new intellectual property, a source of
inspiration and support for the creative community of the
Philippines. It will also be a platform for hardware and software
companies to showcase their latest products and technology. Beyond
skills development, it will give the country unparalleled access to
Unity's latest technology, software development tools, and global
network of creators and educators. This will allow local
professionals to better compete and collaborate on an international
level and enable digital transformation for many industries.
The CREATOR Center of Excellence
will operate out of the newly-launched ArthaLand Century Pacific
Tower which is strategically located at the corner of 5th Avenue
and 30th Street in Bonifacio Global City (BGC), the heart of the
new central business district.
