This is the final article in a three-part series on the top 10 developers in the Philippines according to BCI Asia. In the last article, Eton Properties Philippines, Inc., Federal Land, Inc., and Filinvest Land, Inc. were discussed. Here, the focus is on Megaworld Corporation, Robinsons Land Corporation, SM Development Corporation, and Sta. Lucia Realty & Development. Here it goes:

  1. Megaworld Corporation. Megaworld Corporation is one of the most prominent real estate companies in the Philippines. Its core businesses include the development of large-scale mixed-use planned communities as well as the incorporation of residential, leisure, educational and commercial components. It also has dealings in project design, property management, and construction oversight. At present, some of Megaworld Corporation's most popular developments include Science Hub 1-4, Star Cruise Center, Venice Corporate Center, Uptown Bonifacio Tower, One World Square, Bellagio I-III, The Richmond Hotel, Manhattan Heights, and The Venice.
  2. Robinsons Land Corporation. Cyberspace Alpha & Beta, Robinsons Equitable Tower, and Cybergate Plazaare some of Robinsons Land Corporation's developments. Robinsons Land Corporation is primarily engaged in mall construction, and erecting mid-rise and high-rise condominiums, office buildings, and hotels. John Gokongwei is the owner of Robinsons Land Corporation. From its first project (Robinsons Manila), it has certainly come a long way.
  3. SMDC. SM Aura Premier, One-Three E Com Center, SM Cyber 1 & 2, Sea Residence, Jazz Residence, Berkeley Residences, Grass Residences, and Green Residences are only some of the many projects of SM Development Corporation or SMDC. SMDC functions as the real estate division of the SM Group of Companies. In 2010, its revenues were in the billions. At present, SMDC continues to innovate and push the envelope when it comes to the Philippines' building and construction industry.
  4. Sta. Lucia Realty & Development. Touting itself as the country's leading horizontal developer, some of Sta. Lucia Realty & Development's latest projects include Acropolis Iloilo, Acropolis North, Acropolis Mandaluyong, Alta Monte Davao, and Alta Vista Cebu. If combined lot area is the measuring stick of a real estate company's scope, Sta. Lucia Realty & Development leads the way in the Philippines. They currently have more than 200 residential estates, 11 country club houses, 12 golf courses, and one grand mall.
