By the first quarter of 2015, a 2-billion peso corporate tower will be completed at the corner of ADB Avenue and Dona Julia Vargas in Ortigas Center. The 47-story BDO Corporate Center in Ortigas is part of the development plan for a 2-hectare commercial property by SM Keppel Land, Inc. and BDO. The class-A office building will be above The Podium, an upscale shopping center located within the central business district of Ortigas. A third of the building will be leased out to tenants looking for premium office space in one of the most active business districts in the metro, while the rest will be occupied by BDO, complementing its bank-wide expansion program.

Other than the high-rise corporate tower, the 2-hectare commercial property master plan also includes another office building, serviced apartments, mixed-used development with hotel, and the long-awaited extension of The Podium. Large-scale operations in the area prompted BDO to invest in an office property in Ortigas Center. The various components in the grand development plan will make the new BDO tower a prime office location and investment option. Tenants that will occupy the building will add further to the existing market for surrounding commercial and business outlets. And with the building's high quality and efficient design, this can be an essential element to the Ortigas Business Center landscape and experience.

The office tower design
With transparent curtain walls, vertical metal panels, and silver stripes as part of its key visual features, the design of BDO Corporate Center Ortigas meets international grade A standards. Arquitectonica, an internationally renowned architectural firm, is behind its design. This office property has been planned with functionality and efficiency in mind. Its floor plates will provide flexible office layouts for tenants. This corporate tower is designed for Gold LEED certification, with its eco-friendly building systems, construction materials, design, and facilities. Tenants can take advantage of this building feature not only for creating a greener work environment but also for reduced operation costs. Considering its prime business location, other developments in the pipeline, and grade A building structure and design, the soon-to-rise BDO Corporate Center has the quintessential elements for today's competitive office market.
