A few days ago, we featured Cebu as one of the top investment destinations in the Philippines. The city is generating high levels of investor interest specifically among firms looking to outsource and offshore jobs, mostly because of Tholons, who named Cebu as the top 8th emerging BPO destination in the world. Today's post features the top 3 office options in the city, specifically for companies who want to take advantage of the city's cost-effective office rental rates and talent:
This 12-story commercial building is one of Skyrise Realty's first buildings in Cebu Business Park, which is the newest Ayala-owned economic zone in the city. Skyrise Alpha offers premium-grade offices that are set with modern facilities and technology infrastructure fit for BPOs and KPOs. Recently, Australian firm QBE Insurance finalized its lease of majority of the floors in the building, which will serve as the company's second Philippine site and disaster recovery center.
2 Quad is another building in Ayala-owned Cebu Business Park. It has 11 stories, available leasable space of 14,000 sqms., with over 2,000 sqms. floor plate that can be divided into smaller units. Amenities include four high-speed elevators, 150 percent back-up power and 24-hour CCTV surveillance in all entrances, the main lobby, lift lobbies and hallways. The building will be completed by the second quarter of 2013.
Located at the corner of Cardinal Rosales Avenue and Sumilon Road, eBloc 3 is one of the newest upcoming commercial buildings in Cebu. It has 12 floors with over 15,700 sqms. of leasable area. Similar to 2 Quad and Skyrise Alpha, the building is specifically designed to cater to the needs of KPO and BPO firms. Aside from office spaces, eBloc 3 will also feature an entire floor of dining and retail areas available 24/7 to cater to the needs of BPO workers.
