Daiichi Properties, a key real estate developer behind some of the well-acclaimed grade-A high-rise office buildings in the metro, will open another high-standard office tower in Bonifacio Global City (BGC). World Plaza is a joint project of Daiichi Properties with Gensler, which has previously worked with the developer for the design of One World Place back in 2011. The collaboration of both companies led to One World Place being named the Best Office Development-Philippines at the Asia Pacific Property Awards. Daiichi Properties has an outstanding track record as a prime real estate developer of commercial and residential high-rise structures since 1992. Aside from BGC's One World Place, the developer's other well-known projects include The Taipan Place and The Orient Square at the Ortigas CBD.

Breaking new grounds in BGC

BGC is the venue for the most recent projects of Daiichi Properties, which include the DP Tower and World Plaza. These are slated for completion between 2015 and 2017. The 27-storey World Plaza will rise at the PEZA-registered IT park in BGC, occupying a 2,731-square meter lot area. There will be a dedicated retail space at the ground floor of this high-rise tower. It will also have 18 levels of office space, a penthouse level, and a mechanical deck floor, along with three-level basement parking and six-level podium parking. The design of the high-grade office building includes a visually-appealing spacious modern lobby. World Plaza is aiming to be LEED certified. Prospects for this upcoming office building in BGC are multinational companies, financial institutions, and organizations looking for a high-end office space in a strategic business location.
