Industry experts converge in Cebu for 1st Property Summit

Experts from the Philippine real estate industry and business sector converged in the first Property Summit Cebu last July 17 at the Radisson Blu Hotel in Cebu City.

Organized by Mediacom, in partnership with global property portal Lamudi Philippines, the event has brought together individuals, organizations and businesses to talk about the trends and strategies to overcome the challenges of the Cebu property and business market.

KMC MAG Managing Director Michael McCullough shared his insights about the challenges and opportunities of the business process outsourcing industry in the metropolitan city.

"More BPO companies are expanding outside of Metro Manila, specifically Cebu," McCullough said in his talk. McCullough also presented strategies that the industry can use to further boost the BPO market in Cebu.

In their 2015 report, Tholons tagged Cebu as one of the top outsourcing destinations in the world. The city has been growing as a topnotch BPO hub in the past few years. Some BPO startups have established their headquarters in this next wave city, while others tapped the location for their expansion.
