KMC-Savills Welcomes Sean Ortlauf

KMC-Savills is excited to welcome Sean Ortlauf, our newest Senior Associate. Sean is a Filipino-German who grew up in Köln and moved to the Philippines in 2011 to take up college in the De La Salle University Dasmariñas, Cavite.

Sean joined the KMC-Savills team in February 2016, after working as a Research Analyst and Junior Associate in CBRE Philippines. In CBRE, Sean has gained a wealth of experience in providing brokerage and landlord representation services, representing several multinational firms including Lizardbear Tasking, Inc. and tech giant Uber Technologies Inc.

Sean has also conducted industry specific research and market studies, allowing him to gain a distinctive skillset and possess a unique ability to provide more accurate and comprehensive industry knowledge and insight when assisting clients in their real estate needs.

As KMC-Savills' Senior Associate, Sean said that he wants to become an all-around, generalist real estate broker capable of handling all types of real estate transactions, whether it's office, industrial, or retail.

When asked why he decided to join KMC-Savills, Sean said, "KMC-Savills is a young firm, full of potential." According to Sean, he has been looking for a firm that has a company culture and environment that's conducive for achieving personal and professional growth while maintaining work-life balance.

"Once you enter the office, you immediately feel a more relaxed vibe. People are driven, but they are open to each other. They are able to meet their goals and targets without feeling too much pressure all the time."

Sean is looking forward to working with his role models in the business, Daniel Lynch and Rosario (Cha) Carbonell. "KMC-Savills was immediately the company I wanted to work in once I found out that I will be working with Daniel and Cha. They are great mentors and industry leaders and I would love to work with them in the long-term so I can improve and learn the ropes of the industry."

So far, Sean is enjoying his first few weeks at KMC. "I feel that working in KMC has already helped me gain an improved version of myself -- I am starting to become more hardworking, driven, and independent." "I hope that I will soon provide added value to our clients and become an asset to KMC-Savills' road to further growth."
